The Quaker Walk to Washington

The Quaker Walk to Washington

The Quaker Walk to Washington: From May 4th – 22nd, 300 Quakers walked from Flushing, NY to Washington DC, retracing the spirit of the 1657 Flushing Remonstrance in a modern call for immigrant justice.

We joined them in NY, Philadelphia, and Washington to tell the story of the spiritual conviction, historical memory, and radical witness behind the walk. Each step becomes a prayer, each mile a quiet act of defiance—modeling the world Quakers hope to help build.

The Quaker Walkers journey towards peace and justice in the United States continues onwards! Read the original Flushing Remonstrance, as well as the Walkers Remonstrance, an updated call to the United States government for justice for our neighbors in the migrant community, at: www.quakerwalk2025.org/
